When I’ve needed to do something like that, I set the Calendar Event, then set
a reminder for the event at the desired time, whether it’s 3 hours before or 7
hours before. Keith

Subject: iOS calendar app with customizable alerts/notifications

Hello list,
I’m in search of a calendar app where I can set a customized alert. I do like
the native calendar app, but it unfortunately does not allow for something like
this. You can only select from pre-set times. Two days before, one day before,
two hours before, etc. Same goes for the calendar in the Outlook app.
I need to have the ability to set different alert times. Be it three or four
hours, etc. This can be done via the Google calendar website, but last I tried
it, I didn’t find the Google calendar iOS app all that well laid out. I also
deal with Exchanged based calendars so something that can handle different
calendar types would be ideal.

I’ve heard folks mention Fantastical 2 on the list before. Before I go and
start buying calendar apps, I thought I’d ask if this or another similar app
has this particular feature and is reasonably accessible?

Thanks,
Cristobal
