The reminder app is one of those that I have buried in a junk iOS folder. I’d prefer not to have to start using multiple apps or going through multiple steps to accomplish this. I deal with lots of appointments related to my business and doing this every single time would not be very productive or feasible. Ideally, I’d like to simply do this via the native calendar app as the dates I receive I get via email and can create an event directly from the message, but oh well.
I’ll probably submit this feedback for Apple’s consideration, but that doesn’t really help me now. I do like the native calendar app, but it unfortunately does not allow for something like this. You can only select from pre-set times. Two days before, one day before, two hours before, etc. Same goes for the calendar in the Outlook app. I need to have the ability to set different alert times. Be it three or four hours, etc. This can be done via the Google calendar website, but last I tried it, I didn’t find the Google calendar iOS app all that well laid out. I also deal with Exchanged based calendars so something that can handle different calendar types would be ideal. I’ve heard folks mention Fantastical 2 on the list before. Before I go and start buying calendar apps, I thought I’d ask if this or another similar app has this particular feature and is reasonably accessible?
