Wow! This is another feature they have to enable for you on there end that we don't get access to? I wonder if it works to play something through an iPhone, set the language to description, and then every other device on your account should pick that up, unless this only applies to that device. I remember all the while through playing their first couple offerings, it would disable and hide that option every two or three episodes. I hope people wouldn't have to keep calling throughout a binge session.

I’ve seemly stumbled on a temporary fix for apple TV 4th generation owners who want audio description on Netflix. It requires that you call them and explain the situation, and ask them to enable it for your account. I spent about 5 minutes on the phone with them and have it running beautifully. All it took on my end was a sign out and sign back in, and I was able to select the audio description track like normal.
