Hi Karl,

I tried this once and wasn't happy with the sound quality. Sometimes, there was a loud buzzing in the background, and sometimes, voices were just really distorted. I also didn't like that you can't use your cell phone the same way while it's hooked up to your cordless.

It's been a long time though, and maybe things have improved. I did get so that I could do the connection process myself without problems. I'd recommend trying it to see how you like it. It is easy to undo.

Good luck.

Lois

I don't think you need a dock, but just a bluetooth cable cordless
phone. I have a Panasonic with that capability, but I never set it up
because the instructions were too confusing, and I wasn't sure how much
I would appreciate such a feature.

Hello,

I thought I read on this list once that there was some kind of dock on which one could connect a cell phone which would make it possible to answer the phone through one or more cordless phones around the house as one would with a land line. My wife wants to drop our land line and I would like to be able to do this as she might not always have her phone with her. Is this the case or am I dreaming?
