The Echo app works on the iPhone, but I don't know about set up. When I got my Echo, the phone app was esentially useless. So I had to do set up from my Mac via the on-line amazon alexa app, or whatever it is called. But if you have been told you are connected, then I don't know why aleksa isn't responding.
