The format I use when telling Siri to make an appointment is to hold down the home key and not let it up until I’m finished. You also can’t pause very long so make sure you have the details clear in your mind before you start. Then I say:
“Make an appointment on November 27 at 10 AM titled brunch with Don.” Then let go of the home button. Or you can say: “make a 45 minute appointment on November 27 at 10 AM titled meeting with staff.” Or, “Make a weekly appointment at 10 AM starting November 30 titled Spanish class.” Lots of variations on that work with few problems. It then prompts me for date and time. However, it names the appointment some odd combinations, such as “lunch with (a Don in my contacts)”. I have to tell it to change title, then confirm everything.
