Hello Larry, No, unfortunately, the 3rd gen Apple TV does not work with Apple Music.
I have no idea wether or not this will change but I do not think so. Not sure what Apple is thinking with this kind of product and service fragmentation which I bet never would have flown when Steve was around. ;) Personally I am disappointed that this is the case since quite honestly, I have extremely mixed feelings about the Apple TV 4th gen. I frankly think the user experience in way too many areas is substandard at best and outright excruciating at worst. Either way, not my favorite experience with an Apple product. I say all this because Apple Music was one of the primary reasons I purchased the Apple TV 4th gen so I do wish they would host Apple Music on the other models as well. -Just my thoughts of course… Sorry I cannot share better news. :) Have a lovely weekend!
