I find this quite interesting since for a while SIRI did the same thing for our
local taxi company even though I have them in my contacts as well. Then for a
while it called them again just fine using my contact and now again it goes
back to looking it up online. Also, right now SIRI is often asking me again if
the person I told SIRI to call was the one I wanted to call and I have to
confirm first. It seems SIRI is rather inconsistent at time or maybe Appleis
just fooling around with different settings and ways for SIRI to do things. I
think that SIRI should always first check ones contacts and use that. I also
had it where I asked SIRI to call "BV Taxi" our local taxi company, and it said
"I don't have a number for BV Taxi". When I told SIRI to "Show me BV Taxi" it
showed me the contacts entry with phone number and I know for sure that a
number is there in the proper dialing format. Don't think there is anything
much y ou can do about it except maybe give feedback to Apple and suggest they
should just get their act together and make SIRI work a bit better.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: SIRI asking too many questions when calling with an iPhone

Wondering if anyone has a solution

Request to SIRI: "Call Caseno Taxi"
Response: "I found a Caseno Taxi on Nova Lee Drive - is that the one you want?"

I have this company in my contacts and as a favourite. When calling from my
Apple watch under friends it does what I ask

I find this process to be very frustrating. I can understand this being useful
when wanting to call something or someone who is not in your contacts Is there
any way to change it so that it works like it did under iOS 7.
I find it most inefficient. Why didn't they just leave well enough alone.

Thanks in advance.

Barry
