Hi Jed, When you say that you "download" the ringtone, do you mean you use a PC and the Zedge website? If so the ringtone will be saved in your downloads folder. Before it will be available on your iPhone as a ringtone under Sounds > Ringtones you have to first copy or move the file from the downloads folder to the Automatically Add to iTunes folder which is located in \music\iTunes\iTunes Media (in the case of a PC). After that go to iTunes, connect your phone, go to the device section, find Tones in the treeview which starts with Summary at the top and then sync the ringtone. Also, make sure what you are downloading is in M4R format. There is a way on the Zedge website to tell it that you are using an iPhone and then all the ringtones you download will be in the correct format with the correct file extension. You cannot use MP3 ringtones on your iTunes unless you first convert them to the AAC (Apple Audio Codec) format.
