Brandi, Where earphones are concerned, you're likely to get as many different opinions as the number of subscribers on the list.
Personally, I've always thought the Apple earpods released with the iPhone 5 are excellent for a set of wired earphones costing $29. Their sound is plenty good for my ears and the microphone and remote control and volume buttons are easily accessed and offer a lot of convenience when talking on the phone or listening to books or music. I've always thought the sound quality for these wired earphones is much better than a bluetooth set of earphones especially when factoring in the cost.
