Traci, this is just a personal thing, but I think there's a massive
industry, which Apple are also involved in, which needs to convince us
all that we need to put our phones in cases. For me, I drop my phone
very occasionally, and when I do it's not usually onto concrete or such
like which is likely to damage the phone. Therefore I have no truck with
any of it. Of course, you're extremely welcome to disagree with me.

My first impressions are very nice, especially saying I paid under $16. It feels
like my iPhone 6s is wrapped in a pink leather book. Two things that stood out for
me right away… It throws me for a minute that this isn’t a smart cover. I keep
expecting the phone to turn on when I open it. The other thing is when the case is
closed, your alerts will not be read out by voiceover. I believe the iPhone thinks
it is face down on the table. This feature doesn’t bother me, I actually like it.
The case is easy to open like a book & fold back underneath, so you could have
it laying on a table like that, if you want VO to read alerts.
A few additional comments. It adds a little bulk & heft to the phone. AS far as I can
feel, the headphone jack, charging port, speaker & camera are all accessible. You can feel
the leather raised a bit to accommodate the volume buttons, & you’ll notice feedback while
pressing them. The mute side switch is not accessible while the case is closed. There is a
small cut out where the ear speaker is; I’m not sure of the reasoning behind this. The power
button is the only thing that’ll take some time getting use to. It feels like a metal button
along the leather & there is no feedback when pressed.
Lol, I take time deciding if I like cases, but overall, I think this is what I have
been looking for. True, you cannot see much of the pretty Rose Gold phone, but I knew
that when purchasing. I like that my device feels protected & I can toss it into a
purse/bag with not much concern. Also, the leather may help the phone not slide off of
couch arms & such. ;)
It is probably going to be a keeper. I’m looking forward to asking someone
what the pink looks like. Fingers crossed, it isn’t too hot pink. That’s not
my preference. :)
Hope this helps anyone considering this case. Oh, btw, it came in black, blue,
& yellow as well.
