Hi Sieghard. But do you want to have to carry separate headphones for your iDevices, and standard headphones for everything else. The 3.5 jack is a functional, universal standard. All the other non-Appple devices you use are not about to adopt the Lightning port. It's going to cause disastrous fragmentation.
