Yes indeed, i couldn't agree with you more.

After having spent countless hours importing and exporting emails, addressbooks, etc. from one email program to another for myself and others the integrety of the data in a database is very important to me.

Its sloppiness like this that can cause lots of unecessary work when migrating data.

Apple I believe from day one has never considered the phone as the primary function of the device which I always felt was a mistake.

Hi Don,

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you can't say something like "Call Apple Accessibility" if you put that in the
company field and add the phone number. Even more stupid is the fact that fgor a while this worked fine, I always put the company
name in the last name field as well as the company field, then at some point I thought I try this again and I deleted a few of
the company names from the last name field and SIRI made the calls fine. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly if this was still
in iOS 8.4.x or in one of the earlier 9.x builts. Anyhow, now it does not work again and considering that despite all it's fancy
features and abilities the iPhone after all is still a cell phone, Apple should be ashamed of themselves. Another pet peev of
mine is that ever since I had my first iPhone 4 in 2010, so for 5 years and actually I assume this goes back to the very first
iPhone, you can filter your recent call list only by either "All" or "Missed". Why is there not a filter in
addition to those for "Incoming" and "Outgoing" and why is there no custom filter to search for calls from a
particular number or person. Even my old Windows 6.1 phone in 2007 let you display only incoming or only outgoing calls in
addition to missed calls and all calls. I think with the exception of adding the ability to send a pre-programmed message when a
call comes in the Phone app itself had very few if any enhancements for many years.

Sieghard

Subject: Siri and contacts with company names only:

A question.

Is there a way to make siri call a contact in my contacts that has nothing in
either the first or last name fields?

It doesn't seem to search the company field which is a tremendous oversite on
Apples part as far as I can see.

Is there a setting I can change to make that happen.

Thanks in advance.

Don
