Hi all,
Just was listening to the Today in iOS Podcast and picked up a titbit of information I didn't know before. Apparently you can clear the cache in the App Store app (this works also in the Podcasts, iTunes and iBooks apps) by doing the following: 1. Open the App Store app 2. Put focus on the "Featured" or "Top Charts" tab in any of these apps. 3. Tap the tab 10 times quickly. For a sighted person the screen flickers after the tenth tap and this apparently clears the cache for the app and this in turn may (or may not) improve the performance of your phone. I find with Voiceover it is easiest to split tap, just find the tab and keep one finger on it, then use another finger to tap 10 times quickly. After the tenth tap you'll hear the same little tone that you hear when you open an app and I guess this is the same as a sighted person seeing the screen flicker. Here is a link to an article on CultofMac about this: http://www.cultofmac.com/404462/app-store-app-acting-weird-try-this-quick-fi x/ Regards, Sieghard -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
