If you go into the screen for the fourth button on the button row of the home screen, there are a number of advanced settings that you can select. This is also where you find the voice options. The basic app comes with two voice options: IOS English and Heather. Mine was initially set to IOS English, but I perfer the Heather voice which I think is the same voice you get if you select the Audio Download option on Bookshare rather than the more computer sounding text option for the book download. One thing that is very nice about this app is that it is very easy to purchase a new voice by going into the Manage my Voices setting and selecting from the voice options.
