Yeh, Sandy, when it first came out, I did well. However, with the bells and
whistles, I have been thrown a wild curve for sure. I got to where I didn't
like Fleksy and that kind of disappointed me, since they began with a
fabulous idea.

Precisely! It is that learning curve but we are enquiring about. I have the
latest version of fLeksy on my phone, but I keep taking it out of my
keyboard list because I find it unworkable. I haven't managed to write a
single word with it yet! I seem to keep seeing a keypad. sometimes, and I
don't know how, the keyboard appears, and I input the word using the old
pattern method, and then swipe right. but I don't hear a suggested word. I
can only repeat, in the past, I was something of a power user of the early
versions of fleksy and fleksy vo. all the new bills and whistles seem to

I agree entirely. I tried getting familiar with the Fleksy Keyboard app

although I did make progress, I eventually decided that Fleksy VO was

and consistently accessible. I got tired of difficulties in returning to

any resources on it. Many apps in the Apps Store don't seem to be updated
all that frequently. But I suppose the Fleksy developers have their
reasons.

When using the regular Fleksy app , I had major issues in getting back
to the regular US keyboard. I know that you double tap on the globe or
emogy icon, but that for whatever reason never worked consistently for
me. I've deleted Fleksy from my phone and hope that someone creates an
equally easy third party keyboard for the blind to use, like Fleksy
but easier to use. I still have the separate Fleksy VO app on my phone
and will never delete it. I can write messages quickly and confidently
in that app. I understand their desire to have everything in one app,
but since the main Fleksy app has been giving blind folk lots of
trouble, I wish they would admit defeat and bring back a separate app
for the blind/low vision. OH well.
