Hi, if you use a PC foobar2000 will convert mp3s to a single m4a. When you're saving the file you can change the extension to m4b which will make iTunes see it as an audio book. If all the files are tagged properly you can also drop them into the automatically added, then search music for the album name, press get info on the album and under options change the media kind to audio book.

Hi All,

I have a couple of audio books in MP3 format that I would like to put on my
iPad Air. I'm afraid if I just drop them my automatically add to iTunes folder
that the books will wind up just silly Billy in my music folder. Is there a
way I can tell iTunes, hey look, these MP3 files have to stay in order because
they are an audio book. What's the best way to do what I want? I don't want
to have to spend $40 for an audio book I already own just to get my book on my
iPhone or my iPad. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
