If your book is on a Windows computer the freeware program mp3 to iPod audiobook converter is accessible and fairly easy to use. Not only will it convert the files, but if you want it to, it will make the book one file and allow you to edit the annotations.

I'm afraid if I just drop them my automatically add to iTunes folder that the books will wind up just silly Billy in my music folder. Is there a way I can tell iTunes, hey look, these MP3 files have to stay in order because they are an audio book. What's the best way to do what I want? I don't want to have to spend $40 for an audio book I already own just to get my book on my iPhone or my iPad. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
