Hi, I have an Apple TV third Generation and it has audio description which I use on Netflix now and then. It also has a very nice YouTube channel. I would love to move up to the Apple TV 4th Generation. However, I have not reckoned as of yet how to best handle my sound since I would need to also upgrade my sound bar from the low quality Samsung sound bar which is on the HDTV and Apple TV 3 and has an optical connection. But will not handle an Apple TV 4 because I do not have enough HDMI connections for cable and Apple TV 4 on the sound bar. I am not prepared to make an investment as large as sonos monetarily speaking so not sure what accessible solution will allow me to update from the Apple TV 3 to a 4. However, as far as audio description is concerned the Apple TV third Gen has audio description and YouTube and I tend to use the YouTube more than Netflix because the channel is pretty good. Mark, I am pretty sure descriptions were available on the third Gen, but definitely not on the second Gen. I also had a second Gen and of course not even Youtube was available anymore on it.
