I know mine has six buttons, slot 2, 3 and 4 I don’t know, 1 is on off and 5 is volume lower and 6 is volume higher. I will try what you suggest as it makes sense having had to do that for a Bluetooth headset.
Tried it, is not working, device is forgotten, devices left are the headset, a braille display and a keyboard. Can’t get a sound out of the speaker like it is turning on, and it was working yesterday before 3 in the afternoon just fine. Speaker plugged in, iPhone plugged in. Speaker makes sound when unplugged and plugged back in. Darn my luck! Listening to music on the phone is horrible without speaker! I can’t believe that for the past 15 months I never had this happen before, usually things like this happen on a fairly regular basis. Now need to figure this out, cry for help and since I need it to get my printer/scanner working again … not until Friday, if then, as I think I may be condo hunting then, wanting to sell house with too much outside work for me! So tired of being without any assistance unless I beg for it! Alone is OK sometimes but not all the time! Said after 39 years of marriage and 22 months of alone! I found that the easiest way to resolve this error is to find the more info button next to the name of your speaker, and double tap it. After that, you're looking for the option that says forget to device. You're going to be asked if you're sure, and when you are, hit the OK or yes button. I forget which one it is now. Anyway, then re-pare the speaker as normal. When this happens to me, and I forget the device, and then start all over again, things usually fix themselves. I don't think many speakers have a specific button that you need to press in order to pare them, other than the on button, but yours could be different than mine. I'm sorry I can't help you with specifics on how to pare your specific speaker, but if you know which button to press, you'll now be starting fresh, and should have an easier time of it. No family member, will know, and I don’t see them until Friday! My luck is horrible! Then I find the device under blue to on my phone. I hope this helps. Can someone tell me which buttons I need to use to reconnect this please? It was done at the store in October 2014 and never had a problem until today. Plugged in, battery was well earlier. Thanks in advance. Alone, so no eyes to help me! Rose Combs [email protected] -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
