The IPad Air is about the size of a piece of paper. As someone who is partially sighted, I find the large screen size helpful. I have not activated the cellular feature as I only use my IPad at home, but if you plan to carry it with you, then you would want to purchase this feature.
I am planning to purchase an IPod touch and would use it mainly to listen to audiobooks and podcasts. You can listen to audiobooks and podcasts on an IPad, but the small size of the iPod touch makes it more portable if you like to take it with you. I tend to use the IPad for going through my email and for searching websites and other research. Regards, Michelle -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
