Hi all, I have not had great success with airplay volume to my Apple TV, however today I fiddled with it a bit more.
I noticed turning up the volume on my iPad Mini was only effecting the ATV, not my iPad. So, I turned this up full. I still needed to turn my ATV up pretty far. Here’s the weird part, I used the ATV remote to pause the music. I then used my iPad to play it again & the volume shot up. I was able to turn down my ATV volume to a more normal level. I guess I’m unclear about volume controls. Is it okay to have the iPad’s volume up to 100%, if it is controlling the ATV? As a side question… Does anyone know why I can pause the music with the ATV remote, but I cannot press play to resume playback?
