Hi Traci, if you're sending data from an AirPlay device, then adjusting the volume of that AirPlay device controls how much output is being sent from it. It's not actually adjusting your Apple TV's volume. If you need to go all the way up to 100%, it won't hurt anything. When you're using AirPlay, you won't be able to adjust VOiceOver's volume with your iPad's volume controls. Instead, you can use the volume option on VoiceOver's rotor.
