Hi,
I have found on a suggestion by you Richard that if I turned off the use
of the "use pitch change" feature then the voice is much clearer. I
tried turning this back on and the voice became fuzzy/muffled again.
I am now running VO with "use pitch change" turned off and I have
reported this to accessibility at apple.
I hope this helps.

Not really. The worst voice is when it is reading back something I have written
in an Email using mbraille and then dismiss the mbraille keyboard, but that is
the way it has been since iOS 9, but not always..
The more muffled sound was the first day or so of the 9.3 update, then either
my ears got used to it, or it cleared up. I have no idea. It sounds more normal
now.
Not to mention subtile sound differences are so completely subjective, who
knows.

So let's revisit Richard posted yesterday and what she said the voice Samantha
was Muffled after he updated. My voice over with gestures and out of wall
dictation was reading back was completely normal until this past hour so it
worked quite well for about five hours and now suddenly I have this raspy
muffled voice which is pretty pathetic. Richard, did you find a solution to
this?
