Richard, you're right. ICloud Drive is on on the 6S, and I didn't do anything with the 4S other than to delete the library. I thought what would happen was that the library on the 6S would sync to iCloud, and then I'd have the backup in iCloud, but the library would actually remain on the phone, and if I added something new, or read further in a book, it would be backed up to iCloud again, syncing the new changes. I am extremely frustrated.
