Hi Brian, The Seeing Eye app works just fine in Canada, maps are accessed via data, at this point there is no way to download maps. I also like the app quite a lot, but of course I also don’t have too use it all that much, mostly just when I am in Vancouver. One thing I like about Apple Maps is that I can use SIRI to tell the app that I want a route to a certain address or point of interest and most of the time that works very well. The one thing where the Seeing Eye app still has all other apps beat is with intersection detail. I just like it that the app tells me that I am at an intersection even if it is a T intersection with the cross street coming out across from where I might be walking. Without the information that it is a 3-way intersection I might wonder where on earth that cross street is.
