You might also want to check your settings that affect battery use.
Occasionally after upgrades, I'll notice that bluetooth has been turned
back on or the screen brightness has been reset to auto. I haven't
noticed that my battery life is any shorter with 9.3.1.

you will have to reconnect to your WiFi after the phone reboots and if
you have renamed your phone in Settings > General > About you’ll have to
redo this since the reset process also resets the name back to “iPhone”.

Before installing 9.3 I was still using 8.4 but figured eventually the
newer apps would not work correctly so I upgraded. Now Siri is
unpredictable, battery life is decreased and now when I put the current
call on hold to and then need to get back the “swap’ button is no longer
there?How in the --- do you get back to the first call? I hate when they
break something that was working so well before.I am using the IPhone 6.
Right now I am kicking myself for upgrading when all was working fine up
to that point.
