Subject: RE: How to turn ringer up
Hi Sieghard,
Thanks for the info. I went in and up it to 100 percent and
changed the button to off. I am sure you are right when I push
the volume up button it just turned off the ringer and not
answered the phone. That is what my wife said it answered the
phone but you know how those women are. LOL just kidding all
women out there.
Now hear is another issue. When I call my iPhone my Ipad rings
and it is not hooked up to cellular. I cannot figure out what to
turn off on the iPad to stop it from ringing when my iPhone ring.
Do you have any idea what I would turn off?
Ed

Hi Ed,
Pushing the volume up button shouldn't answer the phone call, if
it did a lot fo blind folks would be super happy since not having
a hardware button to answer a call is not something a lot of
people like. Typically pressing trhe volume up or down button
will silence the ringer, but not pick up the call.
Anyhow, go to Settings > Sounds and find the ringer volume. You
can flick up all the way to 100% to make it as loud as possible.
Also make sure you flick past the volume to the button "Change
with buttons" and turn it off. If this in on it means you can
change the ringer volume with the volume buttons and you may
accidently lower it. If you turn off the button "change with
buttons" and set it to 100% in Settings it will stay there.
Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: How to turn ringer up
Hi Everyone,
I have an iPhone 6s+ and when someone calls me I tried pushing
the volume up button to try and turn the ringer up. But when I
do that it answers the call. Can anyone tell me how to get the
ringer turned up? Any help on this would be appreciated.
Ed
