A lot of that is due to the fact that a lot of stations were taken down due to
licensing restrictions. A lot of stations that were Radionomy owned stations
were taken off of tune in because of the issue that is plaguing them with this
lawsuit that they're dealing with from Sony.
This however is not tunein or their company's fault. They were asked by
radionomy to remove all stations that is under their brand because they can no
longer stream to certain areas of the world due to this situation with the
royalty fees not being paid. It all has to do with the RIAA and their stupid
licensing. And there are a lot of stations that are unplugging silently because
of this problem. So you will see a lot of them dropping as things go on unless
are I a a is persuaded to change things. It's such a shame. There were a lot of
great stations out there. This is the same reason why iTunes has taken their
radio tab off of the free account. Because people are not paying for the use of
the music and they don't want to be sued
