I agree with you Sieghard. Ever since I got my first iPhone, I found it weird that the iPhone doesn't have a feature to speak time automatically without a third party app and that the Mac doesn't need a third party app to speak the time. That sounds like the fragmentation that that Robin always talks about. Another example of that kind of thing is that the Mac doesn't have language detection and the iPhone does. Hopefully in OS X 10.12 they address that issue. But back to iOS, perhaps more of us should write to Apple to make it a feature request for iOS 10. I'm sure they'll listen if everyone barks about it to them.
