You also have to go to mail/contacts/calendar in settings, then go to contacts, and double tap on your name. Then you have to turn off the phone, and turn it back on in order for this to take effect. Even after all that, when I asked Siri who does this iPod/iPhone belong to, it said, "I believe this belongs to Kathy". meaning, at least it narrows down the possibilities of who the device belongs to, but whoever finds the device, if, say, there were two or more people with the same first name, would have to choose between the two or more same names Unless they were savvy enough to go into settings-/contacts and info. The article should've explained all that.
