Hi Gerado, I think I have read somewhere before that the 4S Wi-Fi is prone to stopping to work with older phones and there is little you can do. Certainly here in Canada and probably also in the US there is no way it would be worthwhile to fix this if it even can be fixed. I know you are in Mexico and you would have to maybe check with some third-party repair shop that does iPhone repairs, but a used 4S would be so inexpensive at this point that you could probably buy one for less than what it would cost to fix yours. This may not be what you want to hear, but I think it's unfortunately the truth.

And yes I've tried with several WiFi networks with the same results; the weird thing is the WiFi signal connects just great on my Dad's 3GS iPhone!, on my Victor Reader Stream and other phones. So what diagnostic would you give? and is it worth fixing the 4S's WiFi chip? The phone isn't originally mine, rather it was given to me back in November, with WiFi working great since as I said above,about ten days ago when these problems arose, thus I guess the warrantee already expired since it was bought in Spain, July of 2012.
