I share your concerns and not convinced it isn't a fishing thing hidden in a rogue app. So I ignore, it hasn't stopped me using the appstore weeks later when I wanted to. Hi, Yesterday I suddenly received an alert asking me to enter my app store password. It seemed to be the app store asking for it but I had not used the app store up to that time in the day. Has anyone else seen this behavior before and what is causing it? I just closed the alert and haven't seen it again yet but was concerned it might be malware or something.
