Hi,
Battery life is personal. I can't see how this would increase it, although with 0 brightness, it could. I know for a fact, if I don't use certain apps, I can get an extra 2 hours of my phone, but, this is an interesting point.

Subject: Grayscale for low power consumption - is this a myth

Hi all,

I recently had a discussion with a small group of blind iPhone users, and a few of them told me that I should turn on the grayscale option within General > Accessibility because it will result in longer battery use. Is
this true?

Here's an online discussion which states the grayscale feature will do nothing to reduce battery consumption, and it might even increase loss of
battery life.

Please let me know if I should turn on grayscale or leave this option off.
