The only audio books which can be played (it should be noted) are those which are not copy protected.

Higher quality reading voices. 2. The ability to easily bookmark my place to go back to a particular passage. 3. the ability to highlight text and then export that to a file. When you export the highlight, it includes the chapter and page number of where the passage came from, if that information is available. 4. It makes it so easy to download and read books from Bookshare. 5. It is easy for searching a document for particular words or phrases. 6. You can play audio books and adjust the playback speed quite easily. I could go on and on but that is enough for now.
