You are missing the point. The people who developed the games for windows did it as a hobby because they wanted to and they apparently didn't care if they got paid. The people who ported these games to iOS docare if they get paid. Apparently it's their livelihood and they need to eat. So, you get to pay if you want to play it on this platform.
