You would be hard pressed to find blind people with the skills required to produce iOS apps. it's a very new area of expertise for everyone and especially for blind programmers. the original developers of these games did so with knowledge gained over years of programning knowledge and as a hobby we shouldn't expect that to be the case always. there are all sorts of economics and other factors which dictate what can be produced for free and when people feel that they can charge for their efforts. you don't have to pay for subscribing continuously in playing games on RSS servers. I questioned the wisdom of setting prices for the games as high as they have. there is also the problem of the asymmetry of having costs for one group of users and not for another. however I don't question their right to have a charge for the games. this money will go to support future app development and will likely see the benefits of it in both RS games that are free on windows plus the additional apps produced by kid friendly software it's much more complicated than people with no programming experience think it is. also there are different economic's governing the customer base and expectations of developers of games for sighted people and developers of games for blind people. A high percentage of blind people are unemployed which means there is less spare money available to pay for entertainment I don't begrudge paying for any game but I pick and choose what I pay for in terms of what really interests me I might not pay for your game if I don't like it. that means less advertising and awareness of your game that you might have if I had gotten and liked it it's a fine line to be drawn for developers trying to set prices in a market that is heavily disadvantaged economically
