Not Your Ordinary Notetaker

AccessNote™
<http://www.afb.org/info/living-with-vision-loss/using-technology/download-afbs-apps/accessnote/1234>
is an iOS-based notetaker developed by AFB that brings traditional notetaking
to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Taking advantage of Apple's built-in
accessibility, the AccessNote app is optimized for use with the Apple wireless
keyboard and today's wireless braille displays.

A traditional notetaker is a portable electronic device that enables users who
are visually impaired to take notes, create documents, and access applications.
These devices usually provide speech or braille output (or both) and retail for
about $2,000, or more for those with a built-in braille display. By contrast,
AFB's AccessNote app is available for only $19.99.

A quality, low-cost alternative to traditional notetakers, AccessNote also
allows users to combine efficient notetaking with many other features and
functions of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This allows people who are blind
or visually impaired to use the same popular devices that sighted peers use in
classroom and business settings.

Users will benefit from AccessNote's seamless navigation, which offers quick
access to search features. In addition, automatic saving with each keystroke is
built in, so users never have to worry about losing their work. And, notes can
be backed up by taking advantage of the DropBox sync feature, which is included
with the app.

AccessNote was developed in conjunction with FloCo Apps and is available
through the App Store
<https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/accessnote/id591287188?mt=8> ℠.
