Thanks Sieghard ... the point where the mute switch doesn't mute vibrations is a good one, and for me, is the deciding reason when I go into a meeting or other quiet time, why I would choose "do not disturb" instead of just flipping the mute switch.

Mute silences the sounds from your phone and is on until you switch it off. Do not disturb can be set up on a schedule, and it can be customized, so for example, you can have the phone ring if anyone in your favorites calls you but not otherwise. You can also have calls go through if their from the same person and you get three of them in a short period of time.
