I think that two button hard reset - think that's the term - is about count to
ten in seconds. I can just see enough, though
sometimes still don't spot... the blank black screen with a big bright apple
symbol appears on it. But narrow field of view means
I've still missed it. On the occasion I held it too long, it just went off, so
held the power button a bit to make it come on as
normal.

Don't know if that will fix the editing field error though.

The editing thing is usually done by finding the edit menu, find and tap on
select all, then flick up or down to find delete and
double tap that and apart from a possible confirmation, but it will clear the
edit field entirely. Then back out of that screen and
it should stay gone.

Subject: NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS ONE!

Hi all,

I have the strangest problem with my 6S that I've ever seen on my Apple
products.

It arose because I was inputting Braille, decided not to send that
particular message and tried to delete it all.

OK, next time I was editing some text in which Siri had goofed something
up, I touched the Del button of the onboard keyboard and it read a
couple of sentences to me. I recognised it as text I had input (and
hoped) that should have gone! <Siiles>

I've taken all apps out of my app switcher and rebooted a few times.
Each time it is there again!

I can't remember how long I hold in the home and unlock buttons to
perform a more severe reset and I can't remember either what that is called.

If anyone can help, that would be useful or, please, has anyone ideas of
what else I might do?

Thanks!

Carol P
