Hi Cher, Find the phone number or email address in the text message. Then choose the Details button. A screen will open that gives you options like creating a contact. At the bottom is a Block button. Choose that, and you will stop receiving messages from that person. Of course, if someone uses a different email address or phone number, they will still get through until you block them.
