Hi Reggie, Which phone do you currently have? If it is a 6/6 Plus or earlier the upgrade is probably OK, if you have a 6S or 6S Plus there is little reason to do so unless maybe you have a hearing impairment where the extra volume they claim may make a difference. Of course if you use a hearing aid the absence of the 3.5mm headphone jack may have a negative impact. I definitely don’t see a reason to upgrade my 6S Plus until next year especially knowing that next year’s iPhone is very likely to be a much bigger deal.

For 49 dollars there is an Apple dock that allows listening and charging. Saw it in Mac Daily News. I do not know how to give a link, sorry. Now, my simple thoughts about the roll out the 7 and 7 plus. Lots and lots of visual improvements, but nothing said about Siri or accessibility.
