If you act quick enough, you can downgrade. Here are some rough
instructions as to how to do it:
1) Download an IPSW of 9.3.5. 2) Open iTunes. 3) Go update this
iPhone. 4) Instead of pressing enter, hold down the shift key.
While holding shift, press enter. Now, let go of enter, and,
only once you've let go of enter, let go of shift, too. Now, you
will be in a standard browse for file dialog on windows. So,
navigate to your IPSW, and press enter. If Apple didn't already
stop assigning them, it will revert you to IOS9.3.5, losing
everything, but I presume that you have an iCloud backup, so you
can just restore it. If you want a hand off list, should you
decide to do it, feel free to reach out. Again, just a simple
idea. And, no clues about Macs.
