Lucky, I did the 4s to 6 two years ago and it was simple, this time I have a
mess on the SE. I did not really wish to have the 7 an adapter to use
headphones was the main reason, something more to carry or lose or break. I
looked at one, decided I like the SE form factor better but, it may go back I
tried the iCloud restore but a lot of contacts were missing and my 6 backed up
to iCloud daily and I had performed a backup to the computer at 11:40 Saturday
morning but still having some problems with the phone. I wish Apple had not
taken away the ability to restore apps! After all iTunes says if you use
encrypted backup your passwords are saved, not so in my experience.

I thought upgrade should be easy, this one has been bothersome all the way
around. Love the size, the fact that the power button is on the top again, in
fact, but unless it starts working better with all the stuff I had on the 6
which I still have until tomorrow, I may give it back and keep the phone that
works for me with everything just where I want it.

Hi Rebecca,

It's Becky. I hope you and Zeb are doing well. I have the iPhone 7 and I went
from a 5S to the seventh. The seven isn't as big as the six or 6S. In fact it's
just a hair bigger than my 5S. It's just a touch wider and attach taller. Still
perfect for pocket-size. Honestly the real estate is the same as working with
the iPhone 5 or 5S. I like it because it's faster and the home button is
different but in a good way. The battery seems to keep longer. And compare to
my 16 gig 5S my 128 gig seven can store much more. Most features seem to work
just the way they worked on the older phones. The seven does not have a
headphone jack but it does have an adapter that hooks into the charging port. I
myself prefer to use bone conduction headphones (aftershokz) I paired my Focus
40 blue with the seven and it worked great. There's a new way to edit apps and
in that feature you can also share apps. iCloud back up and restore worked
wonderfully for setting up my seven. I really didn't have to do much other did
enable voiceover type in my Apple ID and password and I was done. I'm not sure
what else you want to know but feel free to email me if you have any other
questions.

Hi all. I'm trying to decide which phone to upgrade to. Can you compare
the SE and the seven for me as far as features go? I like the smaller
screen size of the SE but wondering what other differences there are between
the two. Thanks.
