So, I found this to be very interesting. What is preventing someone to scan a few items, and slip smaller items into their cart with out scanning? They don't have to see a casheer to verify all items have been paid for? I don't think the person at the door looks at all the items in the cart and what was paid for that closely do they? This just feels like an open door to someone getting away without paying for everything if they can get away with it.
