If all you do is use your phone as a phone you can turn off Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth, go into Settings > Display and Brightness and turn brightness down
to 0% and make sure auto brightness is turned off. Then go to Settings >
Privacy > Location Services and turn off location services. Note that this
means you can't use any GPS app or the Maps app or ask SIRI any questions which
may require location. You can also go to Settings > General > Background app
refresh and turn it off.
This will definitely give you great battery life, but you'll also disable a lot
of the features which make an iPhone a smart phone. I personally rather charge
my phone a bit more often before I disable stuff that is convenient.

Sieghard

Subject: extending battery life

I forgot to say that at this point I am just using my phone to send and receive
calls.

How should I have my SE pone set to get maximum battery life?

Thanks,

Nancy & the SE
