I don't know how to fix your issue, but something you wrote about blocking caught my ear. I have blocked lots of numbers but none of them are in my contacts. For a long time I thought that if I deleted a number from the recents page, that it would not be blocked anymore. I then looked in the blocked numbers list and saw about 15 or 20 numbers that I had blocked, most of which are not on my recent calls page.
