What I noticed is that on my 6S when I went to albums in the photo app,
there was a choice for people. It then showed me groups of pictures of a
single person. I could then name the album with the person's name. It took
some deductive reasoning and the fact that I had labeled some pictures with
names so I was able to name them. I guess I could just have asked my
husband but I figured it out on my own. However, on my old 5 running 10.2 I
never could find that particular screen. And I don't know how to add other
pictures to the people albums when I think they belong there. But it is
interesting.

Sherrie

Subject: faces in photos
Greetings How do I get photos on iOS to recognize faces? Does it just use my
contacts and their contact photo, or is there some training process
somewhere? Also, it’s highly possible that I imagined this as a feature
somewhere. Maybe this is a feature on the Mac only? I’m really not sure. :)
Thanks,
Christina
