Hello,
This is really interesting and also kind of perplexing. Often times, it is kind
of strange that some people have certain problems with iOS devices, while
others do not.
I updated my iPhone 6 S Plus from 10.0.2 to 10.1 without any problems what so
ever. But upgrading from 9X to 10X I had to go back to iTunes to restore my
phone to get things running again.
As far as the editing problems go, I have not had any problems on iOS 10.1. I
also updated my wife's phone an iPhone 6 S without any problems with editing
at all.
Note I'm using a complex password while my wife's phone has a 6 digit number
for its password. Neither phones are having editing problems.
I don't for a moment doubt anyone who is having editing problems. It's just a
strange thing that some people have the problem and not others.
For example, I have a problem with Reachability not working correctly, but
others don't have this problem. So I just have reachability switched off.
This is all extremely interesting and frustrating for those who are having the
problem.
One final note, I don't know if this is the reason or not. I have an unlocked
phone running on t-mobile while I am wondering if different carriers might for
some reason be causing this problem.
