Hey, I heard the delay is due to the Ear Pods blowing up. Kidding of course. Just a little warning for all of you who are planning on getting these and are like me. I use bluetooth ear buds now a lot of the time with one ear bud in so I can hear what is going around me with the other ear. I read a tear down about the Ear Pods and they have an Auto Pause feature which automatically kicks in when you take one ear pod out. I would want to make sure you can override or turn that auto pause feature off if you cannot listen to anything with one ear bud out.
